Some amateur astronomy members of astronet might be interested to have a
look at http://www.thenewRadiant.com - a small but long-standing and active
informal astronomy forum & portal that brings together people from all over
the world.

It is easy to join and all new memberships are carefully monitored to ensure
that there are no spammers & unwanted activity, making it family-safe as
well. It gathers a lot of news feeds & has useful resources in the form of
well-researched links. It has a lively and supportive discussion board where
members discuss news, observations etc and also help one another with advice
& general contact. One of its main advantages is that it is an informal
"lounge" where no question is stupid and where some strong international
friendships have been built over the years.

If you want to join and ensure that your membership is approved promptly,
ensure that you choose the correct country of origin, your full name (it
will NEVER be disclosed to anyone outside of the site!) and also send an
e-mail to info at thenewradiant.com, mentioning that you are a member of
Astronet.

Regards

Lee Labuschagne
