[AstroNet] Antarctica public talks

Dear Colleagues

 

The Department of Science and Technology has declared the month of June as
Antarctica Month. SAASTA would therefore like to invite you to public
talks/lecture which will be held on 21 June 2008 at the OBSERVATORY site.

 

Note that 21 June is winter solstice, the sun is at its lowest point and
this will be the longest night of the year.
