[AstroNet] The Wise Satellite Launched

Hi All,

Just a heads up the WISE (Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer) was 
launched today on a Delta II rocket at Vandenberg Air Force Base, U.S.A. 
WISE is an infrared telescope, and it estimated to detect hundreds of 
millions of objects ranging from the brightest galaxies, to very cool 
substellar objects, asteroids and comet. It will generate millions of 
images in the process.
