[AstroNet] Public IYA Events in Durban from Today until Thursday

Dear All,

If you are anywhere near Durban, you might be interested to hear that  
during the SAIP Conference (which takes place in Durban this year)  
several IYA related events are offered for the general public:

- 'Under the Evening Skies': 7-9 July (public talk and subsequent star- 
gazing)

- SAIP 2009 Public Lecture by Dr Jonathan Sievers (Canadian Institute  
for Theoretical Astrophysics) on the topic
"The Oldest Light in the Universe": 9 July
