[AstroNet] Sightings of a flare/Fireball?

Hi All,

This morning I recieved a call from a SANPARK ranger who have been 
receiving calls from a number of people regarding a sighting at around 7 
am this morning. One of the observers in Somerset-West commented that 
they saw a bright orange object with tail falling behind the 
Hottentots-Hollands mountains. Would be interesting to hear if anyone 
else on this mailing list have seen it and give some more info.

Apparently a number of other people saw a bright object last night as 
well. I assume its probably the bright iridium flare predicted around 7 
pm over CT last night. I have not seen it myself though.
