The licencing requirements for strong (>5mW) green laser pointers and other laser products were discussed during the 2010 ASSA Symposium and guidelines formulated.  Details is available at www.pretoria-astronomy.co.za/laser.htm Interested parties are requested to give their feedback before these recommendations are submitted the the Deptartment of Heatlh.  Feedback can be sent to laser at pretoria-astronomy.co.za.
