[AstroNet] Soutpansberg Astronomy Club: Astronomy evening on Saturday 25th Feb

Greetings everyone,

Those of you who have been watching Venus and Jupiter converging in the west during the course of this month are in for a treat this Saturday when the slender crescent Moon joins the planets.  The Soutpansberg Astronomy Club's monthly get-together happens to coincide with this lovely grouping, so come and join us for an evening of planetary stargazing on Saturday 25th February from sunset onwards.  New members are welcome and no previous knowledge of the subject is necessary, just an interest in our universe!  A short presentation accompanied with images and live video on Eta Carinae will be done during the course of the evening.  Braai packs, refreshments and amenities are available.
