[AstroNet] International Observe the Moon Night on the 12th October 2013

Hi everyone,
International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN 2013) is literally around the corner.  Three events have been registered in Southern Africa, two in the Western Cape and one in Limpopo.  There is still time to register your event at this link http://observethemoonnight.org/getInvolved/register_event.cfm.

On Saturday 12th October 2013:

  a.. In the Western Cape, ELF Astronomy and Star People "sharing the universe" will be at Zevenwacht shopping mall (Kuils River, Cape Town) from 10:00 and will incorporate World Space Week in their outreach.   b.. The Orion Observation Group (OOG) will have their telescopes setup at the Afrikaanse Taalmuseum/Monument in Paarl.  For more information Amira Clayton can be contacted at +27 (0) 21 863 0543.   Carol Botha has also provided an after hours number as well as a weather report on the day, she can be contacted at +27 (0)72 181 6744. 
  c.. In Limpopo, the Soutpansberg Astronomy Club, as an IAU/OAD Astronomy for the Public Outreach event, will celebrate World Space Week and InOMN at the Mall of the North in Polokwane from midday onwards.  Contact Kos Coronaios at +27 (0)79 148 4934 for more information.
