 Hello All,

I also have an Eratosthenes Project project called "How Big is Earth" that
received some funding from IAU-OAD. I have had people joining me and
sending me some images and doing some of the work.

I think that measuring Earth's circumference is a project most schools do.
If we could organize together, we would be doing more successful work! I
was also looking for schools in Africa and I had some participation from
Morocco. I use Moodle for my LMS. It is translated into many languages. I
also have a Google translator for the content in Moodle. English is spoken
well in many places but, children are more comfortable using their first
language. If someone can help teachers use the translator links, it really
helps.

I am looking for participants for my June 19, 20, 21 and 22 dates.

"How Big is Earth" was partially successful in March. Dates for
measurements were March 19, 20, 21, 22. Many participants did not finish
all the work because March 20 was the last day of school before a break. I
had schools from Sweden, USA, Nepal, China, Morocco at the start of the
project.

I am now looking for more participants for June.

Beatriz, I am wondering if we can work together in these projects. Please
let me know.

My project is at http://new.icollaboratory.net.
<http://new.icollaboratory.org.> You need a username and password to
participate. I think if we can share our information and work together we
could do a better job.
