[AstroNet] OAD Call for Proposals 2016 is now live

Dear colleagues

We are pleased to announce the release of the OAD's 2016 Call for
Proposals. You can access the call text and links to the online submission
forms at www.astro4dev.org/cfp.

Expressions of interest can be submitted by* 15th July 2016.*
Full proposals can be submitted by *15th September 2016. *

This year the underlying approach has been that of simplifying the call
process both for proposers and reviewers alike, and incorporating greater
involvement from the nine OAD regional offices. In this spirit, the online
forms are now much shorter; basic matching of selection criteria and
scoring to specific questions have been explained and is publicly
accessible as part of call text; and representatives of OAD regional
offices will review expressions of interest to assist/endorse projects
accordingly before full proposals are submitted.

We look forward to receiving your expression of interest, and later full
proposal, for projects that use Astronomy as a tool to address an issue
related to sustainable development.

Please do spread the word widely and do not hesitate to contact us if you
have any queries.
