Dear friends and colleagues, In 2019, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) will celebrate its 100th anniversary (IAU100). To commemorate this milestone, the IAU will organise a year-long celebration to increase awareness of a century of astronomical discoveries as well as to support and improve the use of astronomy as a tool for education, development and diplomacy. The IAU is issuing a call for proposals for Special Projects in support of *IAU100 Goals at local and national levels*. An IAU100 Special Project is an astronomy-oriented activity implemented at a local or national level that will support the IAU100 Goals under one or more of the IAU100 Flagship Programmes . The IAU100 Task Force will provide seed money support up to 2500 EUR for the IAU100 Special Projects. *The deadline for application is June 15, 2018.* Our team is looking forward to embarking on this new adventure with you!
