She has been a member of Polish astronomical Society since 1985 and she became an astronomer in 2008. She is currently the leader of the teaching astronomy and astronomy popularization at the University of Wroclaw. In 2004 she coordinated the Transit of Venus, in 2007 she cordinated the Lower Silsian Science Festival and in 2009 she co-ordinated the International Year of Astronomy in Poland.
