round of <B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Southern African Lens</B>, a
photographic competition specifically aimed at illustrating and communicating
the excitement and impact of science and technology in <?xml:namespace prefix =
st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place
w:st="on">Southern Africa</st1:place> has been launched. The competition,
organised by SAASTA, is open to residents of <st1:country-region w:st="on">South
Africa</st1:country-region>, </SPAN><st1:country-region w:st="on"><SPAN
lang=EN-ZA
style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Namibia</SPAN></st1:country-region><SPAN
lang=EN-ZA style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">, <st1:country-region
w:st="on">Botswana</st1:country-region>, <st1:country-region
w:st="on">Zimbabwe</st1:country-region>, <st1:country-region
w:st="on">Lesotho</st1:country-region>, <st1:country-region
w:st="on">Swaziland</st1:country-region> and <st1:country-region
w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Mozambique</st1:place></st1:country-region>.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

called <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">I See Science &
Technology</I>, is aimed at encouraging learners in these countries to share

hosting the World Cup Soccer in 2010, there will be a special category for
photographs that illustrate sport science.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></B></P>

competition with the donation of a Canon EOS1000D camera with 18-55mm lens kit
for the overall winner; and two cameras as prizes in the <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">I See Science & Technology</I>
category.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
