In 2019, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) will celebrate its 100th anniversary (IAU100). To commemorate this milestone, the IAU will organise a year-long celebration to increase awareness of a century of astronomical discoveries as well as to support and improve the use of astronomy as a tool for education, development and diplomacy.<br>
<br>
The IAU is issuing a <a href="https://iau.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=0ecb46e29196a0f367daf3dd6&id=7a2187f487&e=ae6ccb573e" style="color:#656565;font-weight:normal;text-decoration:underline" target="_blank">call for proposals</a> for Special Projects in support of <strong>IAU100 Goals at local and national levels</strong>. An IAU100 Special Project is an astronomy-oriented activity implemented at a local or national level that will support the IAU100 Goals under one or more of the <a href="https://iau.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=0ecb46e29196a0f367daf3dd6&id=57a45b7c7c&e=ae6ccb573e" style="color:#656565;font-weight:normal;text-decoration:underline" target="_blank">IAU100 Flagship Programmes</a>. The IAU100 Task Force will provide seed money support up to 2500 EUR for the IAU100 Special Projects. <strong>The deadline for application is June 15, 2018.</strong><br>
