Hi all
Another big IYA2009 project is on the way and we appeal to all to get
out your binoculars and telescopes and hit the
streets/schools/communities to have a look, together with the rest of
the world, at Jupiter and its moons, as well as our own moon. When
Galileo looked at these objects 400 years ago, it led to a fundamental
change in the way human beings see the universe - an event that many
consider the birth of modern scientific thinking. Let's share that
moment of discovery together with the rest of the world from 22 to 24
October 2009! What's your plans?

This is a reminder to all those planning activities for Galilean Nights
next week to register your events at www.galileannights.org. There are
also useful resources on that website such as sky charts:
http://www.galileannights.org/sky_maps.html

Regards
Kevin
