SPRING SCIENCE SHOWCASE

Sunday, 9 September 2012 from 14:00-18:30



      The Society's Northern Branch will be hosting a Spring Science Showcase at Delta Environmental Centre, Blairgowrie, Johannesburg.   Join us for a new event in which we will showcase some of South Africa's best science through presentations from outstanding established and young scientists :

      Speakers

      - Jill Farrant (Plant drought tolerance)

      - Hector Magome (SANParks science)

      - Adrian Tiplady (Square Kilometre Array)

      - Alta Schutte (Cardiovascular disease)

       Posters - competition open to postgraduates and postdocs 

       Entry fee -  R120 per person (R70 students, postdocs, scholars)

       Delicious snacks and drinks included

       Great venue, outdoor area, family and friends welcome
