[AstroNet] Soutpansberg Astronomy Club: Stargazing evening 25 Jan 2014

 Hi all,
 

Weather permitting the Soutpansberg Astronomy Club in Louis Trichardt will hold their first stargazing evening on Saturday 25th January from sunset onwards.  The Club's stargazing evenings are open to the public and everyone is welcome.  One of the targets for the evening will be Jupiter with the GRS and a shadow transit by Ganymede visible.  A few of the deepsky targets will include, the galaxy NGC 1232 in Eridanus, the globular cluster NGC 1261, the double star zeta Reticuli, as well as favourites such as M42, M1 and NGC 2070.
